Beechworth Gold Mining Leases 1859-1866 Part 1 (book or CD) indexes records from the Victorian Public Records Office, VPRS 7842. These records cover the Mining Divisions of Buckland, Jordan (Woods Point), Omeo (Crooked River), Benalla, Yackandandah and many more.

The index gives you the applicant's names, other names on the lease and the location of the lease. The names of the Wardens are repeated hundreds of times in this index, so we have taken the liberty of omitting the Warden if the names have been indexed many times.
