Kaye Vernon and Billie Jacobsen, with the assistance of State Records NSW, have compiled the Registers of seamen who were discharged 1859-1916, CGS 13286 (Kingswood 5/531-44).

Volume 1: Registers of seamen who were discharged 1859-1916 covers the years 1859-1869 and includes name of seaman; place of birth; name of ship; ship's master; and more. There are over 11,000 names listed.

 

Volume 2: Registers of seamen who were discharged 1859-1916 covers the years 1869-1878 and includes name of seaman; ship's master; and name of ship. There are over 13,000 names listed.

 

Volume 3: Registers of seamen who were discharged 1859-1916 covers the years 1878-1887 and includes name of seaman, name of the ship, name of the Captain of the ship and the date of discharge. There are over 17,000 names listed.
